I just had the weirdest experience.

I was running along the treeline trying to get out of Cherno towards Elektro. I would run for a bit keeping the coast on my right shoulder, pass the place with the bodies half buried in the ground with all the flies buzzing, come across a few buildings and then see Cherno in the distance. I kept going, passed Cherno again, again passed the pitt of bodies and after 4-5 minutes of running in a straight line along the coast - there was Cherno in the distance. There was no break in the scenery or anything so as far as I can tell I hadn't been teleported - If I had then it wasn't noticeable. So bizarre.

Any idea what could have happened there?
