Heli crash site questions

Hey guys I found a heli crash site (my first and was so excited) I managed to find a m249 saw with a few belts. I wasn't sure where abouts other loot spawned but I checked around it. Where abouts do other things spawn because I know there's like a medical box sometimes and can you go in the heli's?

you'd see the medi box if it was there. Pretty obvious cardboard box within a few meters of the heli.

In my experience (only encountered 3 heli crashes so far) the spawns have all been within a meter or two of the chopper on the left or right of it. Often I couldn't actually see any of the items because they were hidden in the grass or whatever. At best I found 2 guns on one chopper. At worst I just found camo clothing and regular loot. The other time I just found NVG and camo clothing.

Definitely think there could be stuff missed if you don't look around carefully.

Medi boxes will only spawn on Helis that look like this

You found I'm betting a downed Huey.

There's three that can be downed.

Hueys, Apaches, and the Medical choppers. Each spawns military loot.

just scroll around the heli. if u go to the back u can find an option called gear.

Make sure to check outside both of the open doors (watching to do so as fast as you can as you've just become a prime target finding that). I have found guns outside either side doors as well as the box area.
