Should we have a banlist thread?

Recommended Posts

I'm wondering if we should start up a banlist thread or something to keep track of cheaters, it doesent matter if you don't have proof etc. Opinions? No, you would not be required to use any of them thus piss poor admins trying to get someone in trouble isn't a issue AND for some reason they aren't updating the official bans.txt anymore.

I would be if you could trust everyone adding to it. Since that's not ever going to happen I guess we are on our own.

Eh I honestly think its worth having it so we could crosscheck users suspected of cheating to see if anyone else caught them before or something

well if we eliminate opinions from the thread and require proof, perhaps that would be sufficient to make this idea work.

"I don't like a certain guy on my server, I will add his name to the ban list so every other admin can use it."

Unless there is obvious proof provided by admins, this will not work.

Proof is something alot of admins dont keep track of. I was thinking we could add a number of requirements to work as a idiot filter.
