I log off around the outside of a town in a treeline, i come back today and i find myself respawning on the coast of Elektro -_- Is this some sort of glitch? BurtRaven 20 Posted May 25, 2012 Same thing happened to me - was way up North and had just found a nice little patch of earth to set-up camp - logged in this morning and spawned on the coast side of Elektro!I figured 'whatever' and made my way to a nearby warehouse where I spotted another survivor scaling down a ladder on one of the fuel tanks, he was facing my way and stopped half-way down so I figured I had been made and legged it down the beach a ways before cutting back into town.A minute later I heard a few shots in the middle-distance then as I was working my way through some zeds towards the North side of town I hear 'pop, pop, pop' as bullets start bouncing all around me - I bolted for it and made it to the hill near the power station ducking, dropping and watching my back all the way but no sign of pursuer...I decided to head back to the wild and made it up the road about half a click when I hear another gunshot from (way) behind - there was the guy at the top of the last hill I climbed and he was still stalking me! Luckily his shots pulled some zeds giving me time to react.I'd had enough of him by now so I doubled back and waited in ambush - no sign of him yet ;)True story. MrBlue21 4 Posted May 25, 2012 Same here, south shore by Prigor and got shot making a run for the tree line. :( I had been alive for days up north.... oh well I was kinda happy as now I can go into a major town with no fear of losing it all.Cherno here I come! Mjolnir (DayZ) 1 Posted May 25, 2012 Not only did I spawn in the south, I spawned on the pier in Cherno with 8.5K blood, bleeding and in pain (I had logged off with everything green and over 11K blood north of Stary Sobor). Somehow I managed to make it back up north; it would be a shame to lose my 20+ hour character with M14 (with 5 DMR mags), ALICE backpack and GPS to some silly Cherno noob because the game lost track of my location.
