Server wipe?

Recently me and my friends managed to get a camp going, and it lasted for a week with no one finding it or stealing anything from it. Then all of a sudden we log in and nothing is there (the time was also off, it was supposed to be mid-day but it was night). We had 2 vehicles and a camping tent, yet everything is gone (even the fencing kit we put up lol).

I doubt anyone took it...im just kinda mad that all of the stuff is gone. Will it all come back on the next server restart? Or should i never bother making a camp again if this is going to happen all the time?

Sometimes it takes multiple restarts for items to reappear.

If it is a hive server, then nothing was intentionally wiped, unless it was destroyed by players as hive servers don't have access to the database.

So either somebody came in and destroyed all your stuff, or due to restarts/bugs it got itself deleted or hidden ( might show up later/future restarts). Also, server time is based off of system clock time, so it has nothing to do with anything database related.

I suggest you try again with another tent, gear is easy come easy go.

Also hackers can change the time/weather in your server. Just an FYI.

I don't think anyone came and took anything. The reason being is that we had a pretty nice location where the only way to see the camp was coming from to the corner left of it, otherwise shrubs/trees blocked it.

The other thing is that just last night we went on to check it, and it was all there (the server was night too). Now we log in later today and the server is still night but everything is gone. The player base is also pretty low sometimes. So it's either hackers or the items are hidden...god i hope so. Thanks though.
