Is the M40A3 a scripted in weapon?

The M40A3 sniper rifle with camo on it. Is it a scripted in weapon? Looted it off a guy last night, didn't play much today but someone mentioned it's scripted in and I can get banned for using it. Please respond.

it's spawned in using a script, it's not legal.

Rocket himself said in a post "A player who spawns in the weapon and uses it can get banned, However a player who finds the weapon and uses it will not be banned since he did not break the rule" Basically he's not going to Punish a player who found something that will help him survive unless you spawned it in to give urself a unfair advantage.

Thanks for the Compliment I feel i should actually be knowledgeable about something and help a tester out, i say tester for the fact DayZ is in Alpha and is not a game yet xD (no i did not come up with that "tester" thing i saw it on a other users Signature whos name i cannot remember.)
