Save items in tents after death

Hello, i was thinking about setting up a tent to save some gear, but i wanna know if the items inside a tent has to be removed and saved in a new tent after you die, or you can just go save the tent with the items inside after death to keep them there. Can anyone comfirm that it works by simply saving the tent after dying works?

Yes if you save the tent again after dying then the items and the tent will not despawn. But you still have to periodically return to the tent and mess with the items and save the tent for it not to despawn.

Yes they will still be there after you die. But you can't pick up the tent after you die.

On the server you placed it on. I have 4 or 5 servers I play on and I have tents on all of them.
