An interesting idea, would obviously have to be very difficult to construct. I hate the clan tag bit though, sorry. Would break immersion and also look silly seeing:

type shit around the place. Not bagging your general idea though, would be great to be able to customize all vehicles. Actually having vehicles to customize might be a good starting point though...
