Are there any controls which can substitute a mouse wheel?

I have a gigabyte mouse, I have the drivers installed for it, but the mousewheel doesn't seem to work in any game. It'll work in windows/browsing fine, but whenever I try it in game, it doesn't work. I can't pick up any backpacks because of this. Is there anything I can do?

im pretty sure you could change every control in the game, just check the options and have a play about with the key bindings

What is the key i should remap for the scroll button? I can't find it :(

just use the brackets buttons i.e "[ or ]" works the same way as the mouse wheel really allowing you the scroll menu for gear, backbacks, and so on....
