"Arma 2 has stopped working" temp fix

It seems that when I use 'windowed mode' this fixes the issue, which brings me to me next question, does anyone have any good settings for windowed mode? and can i run fullscreen windowed?

I got such error when I was trying to play Arma 2 OA multiplayer and had DayZ installed too.

Seems that renaming DayZ folder and making sure you start Arma 2 with clean exe (without -mod=@DayZ ) might help.

Atleast I was able to play campaign which previously did not work.

I can play 5 - 20 minutes OF FULLSCREEN DayZ then it crashes and i get "Arma2OA has stopped working" I tried all fixes, checked temps and so forth.

Seems Windowed mode is the only solution to the problem.. just wish there was fullscreen windowed mode.
