Server connection or other problem?

What happened: While I was looting the medical base east of Balota, I was attacked by zombies, I lost blood down to about 6000. After patching myself up I continued to loot the area, finding an AKM, withing the next minute, someone began to shoot me and I returned fire. After he passed out I moved a ways a way to let the hoard of zombies that had come to eat him have their way. As I bandaged myself I noticed my blood was at circa -2500, so I started up FRAPS, took a screenshot, ate dinner and posted it here.

Where you were:Just west of Balota and later East of it.

What you were doing: I was looting the medical base at Balota/east of Balota.

*Timeline of events before/after error: I was playing and found a boat, this is where the first error occured, the "save boat" action kept with me for the entire time. I've been experiencing it since I entered the medical base east of Balota
