Unable to launch game

Recommended Posts

Installed the game, twice now, redownloaded and everything. I've tried both the manual, and the auto install from Worrom everytime I try to load the game I get this pop up for a second than it disappears I had to print screen and time it like six times to get it on the screen long enough to actually see it. I'm not sure what is wrong, any ideas?

Thanks,

Jeremy

Try to to check the integrity of the game cache (right-click on arma 2, select "properties", click on "local files" and select "verify integrity of game cache...".

Also make sure you followed these steps:

1) Install both games

2) run Steam as administrator

3) run Arma 2 untill you see the menue screen and exit again

4) run Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead untill you see the menue screen and exit again

(3&4 are necessary for steam to realise you got everything to launch combined operations)

5) install dayZ (I prefer the mannual way)

6) double click (or select "play") on Operation Arrowhead in your steam library, a window will now open giving you 4 options

7) select "Launch Arma 2: Combined Operations" and click on "play"

Edit: I've just read in another forum thread that someone had to install the two games after each other (first Arma 2 then Operation Arrowhead in order to be able to launch combined operations)

The error message suggests that a file/key is missing.

I hope I could help you solve your problem.
