two characters

i started a character on a server and logged out after playing, next day i join another server, and lost every thing, after working to get my equipment back i log out, next day i try another server to find that my first character is still around, i want to know why this is and how i can know which character i can use in a server thanks

Happened to me, no idea what it is.

You probably joined a server with a private hive on your second login and then on your third go you got your original character back.

Private Hives don't load/save your character to the central database.

I had this happen once - I opened DayZ differently though

yea, i want to get rid of one tho cos its annoying and i dont know which 1 im gonna get lol

hmmm is there any other reason for this to do what it is, i havnt been on a private hive
