I have a few questions about tweaks for Dayz

Hi, I was wondering if adding the extra start up parameters in six launcher like -cpuCount and -maxMem and -exThreads can improve performance? I have and AMD Phenom II x4 965, it has 4 cores, and I have 8gb of ram.

I know it may not be easy on your computer but download a free version of fraps and check to see your FPS have or haven't changed in game with the startup parameters enabled/ disabled.

im using the same CPU, i have set startup paramaters -cpuCount at 4 and Maxmem at 2047

I have a Phenom II quad core and adding exthreads=7 gave me an extra 10 fps or so. These are my launch options in DayZ Commander:

-cpuCount=4 -exThreads=7 -maxMem=2047 -nosplash -noPause

They definitely help.
