Server Recommendations

So I was thinking of getting the game this weekend, Been watching gameplays on youtube all day, am curious if anyone could recommend a server where there's not bandits running around all over the place. I don't want to get shot at everytime I try to interact with another player.

I want to try and make friends and survive, This shouldnt have to be a deathmatch.

Everyone's a bandit. Don't trust anyone unless you know them in real life, and you are able to go over to their home and slap them if they put a bullet in the back of your head.

Also, try the beta servers. They have less cod kids, more HQ bandits :D

My servers both feature a fairly level-headed crowd. If you like hardcore servers, join LEM; otherwise, TARKOVSKY is your man. I've had several survivors approach me and salute or wait for me to shoot, and leave once they find me friendly.

I've had decent luck with a couple dallas servers, but I pretty much stay up north

PAIKEA, there are a lot of gamers on dayz you can thrust.

I never had any bad experience with other gamers I got in chat-contact before

and only got shot by some hidden idiots about 4 or 5 times.

And I play Dayz now for more than a month.

Bandits are part of the game and believe me you will get killed by survivors with no clues a lot more than real bandits. Also, they are on every servers.

Other players are why the game is fun. The trust and the fear.

That being said, try ALTITUDE servers, best servers in my opinion. Just type ALTITUDE in the filter host name and voila.
