Me and another guy teamed up and communicated via skype while playing. Died a couple times getting to each other and finally had some good luck and got some good loot.

once thing I couldnt figure out, is in the forest I cut some wood, make a fireplace and lit the fire... it would burn then go out in like 5 seconds and not let me cook meat... what the heck?

If it's already been lit and extinguished it will not relight (go make a new fire) or it was raining (rain actually puts out fires if you aren't under cover of some form)

Hmmm, cant remember if it was raining. I am assuming a fire will aggro the crap out of zombies... but if you are in a forest and there aren't any around you should be fine right?

Zombies do not spawn at forrests theres nothing to worry about, except other players. Good luck

that would explain the lack of zombies I see in the woods lol...
