Scroll wheel problem

Recommended Posts

Hi, I've got a problem with my scroll wheel. For some reason my scroll wheel doesn't work in dayz, but in windows 7 it works perfectly. So quickly opening the menu and scrolling around the options is pretty difficult. The menu keys are bound to my scroll wheel on default, but when i try to rebind it, it just doesn't recognize me using the mouse wheel. Mouse 3 works fine though. I bought the ARMA on steam, i'm using a razer abyssus mouse.

Does anyone have a solution for this problem? I'm forced to use something like K or L to move around in the menu, which is pretty annoying when you are getting hit by zombies or something.

Thanks in advance...

What do you mean with controls. I'm sure move up and down in the menu is bound on my scroll wheel because it's by default. It's just that in doesn't work at all in dayz.

For example, I try to bind a key on scroll up, it doesn't even recognize me scrolling. That's what I mean.

I had this problem for a while until someone pointed out that the Steam overlay may be causing the game to think the CTRL button was depressed the entire time. Try tapping left CTRL to see if the scroll menu comes back up.
