DayZ wiki and Rangefinder

How do you activate the rangefinder? I looked on the wiki and it doesnt even tell you, but instead just says that they take the slot of the binocs (which isnt true, it takes the NVG slot)

drop binos, pick up rangefinders. they go in the bino slot.

press b

you have to drop your binocs first, take the range finders, then click B.

all ya gotta do is drop the binocs and then put the rangefinders on
