So what would happen if a helicopter is in the air while a server restarts?

Does the Helicopter spawn where the player saved it, and the person spawns in it? Or does it spawn in it's last known location?

Or something else?

You spawn in the air and fall to your death, unless you can get to your chute quick, more than likely you will be dead in the middle of character creation.

you spawn on the ground where the chopper was alive and 100% fine

i dont know what happens to the chopper, but its either:

gets put back to the last place it was on the ground for over 1 minute / saved

gets put on the ground 20 feet ahead of where you lost connection

in the 2-4 seconds the vehicles keep going after you DC it crashes and gets deleted, leaving you to wonder where it went then ahve it appear 7 days later.

I can confirm that if you DC for what ever reason in the chopper, you will spawn on the ground safe. The choppers don't save their location at all right now, so if it vanishes best to look back where it originally spawns.

Choppers seem currently bugged. They spawn back at their original spawn, missing all the parts when the server resets. I can confirm dc'ing in a chopper will put you safely on the ground where you spawned but more than likely the chopper will spawn fresh completely broken.
