Can't connect to 95% of DayZ servers

I have just downloaded all the things for this game Arma 2 combined operations downloaded the mod properly but I can't connect to almost any of the servers. Sometimes it's for diff reasons Like it will say because "You cannot play edit this server because deleted.chernaus" but this doesent make sense. Because I just downloaded the mod today and I know many others are having this problem. Is this going to be fixed? Is it a bug? Or is it just me? Thanks.

how are you launching the game?

anyway, you can download and use sixlauncher or dayzcommander (something like that) which should do everything for you (update mod/beta, connect to server) although I have no experience with them since I prefer doing things myself
