Can't join servers.

Hello,

I just got ArmA II, Arma II: OA and installed the DayZ mod.

I got everything set up and ready to play. I try to join a server, everything goes fine until i have completly loaded everything.. The screen then just returns to the server list menu, no notification, no error pop-up, no nothing! It happens with every server i try to join.. Anyone know what might cause the problem?

Same thing here. In the background i can also see waiting for character to create or something. Reeeeaaallllyy annoying. Anyone have a fix?

Make sure you guys have the latest updates. Use the auto updater install it and update. Also make sure you download the new updater when there is another update on DayZ.

Everytime i try to use that tool it says i dont have java. I uninstalled java and reinstalled but it still says it.

Hi,

You have to make sure you have the Battleye folder present in both ArmAII and ArmAII OA folders. If it's not you'll be kicked from the servers.

Unfortunately I'm at work, so I can't paste the exact paths for you.

Also the Java version, I'd use a 32 bit version of Java just in case.

Thanks, even thou when i installed ArmA II and ArmA II: OA.. i installed the security thing with both... but dont know if it really got installed.. going to check real quick. But let me know if it works eitherway.

Alright thanks man! Yeah any help is appreciated. Heres the directories

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2\BattlEye

then I copied to

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead

I got it to work by having the battlEye security thang in both of the game folders, you know what im sayin'. Thanks for the help dudes!

Im reinstalling battleye for both to see if it fixes anything. Me and butter are having the same problem.

I had the same problem until i copied and pasted the battleye folder from steams "ARAM2" to "ARMA 2 operation arrowhead" folder and then it worked!
