Ghost (Exploit) Bandit gets owned but what happened to his gun?

Well, at first I suspected this guy of ghost exploiting but did not know for sure. Then I dug through the server console file to verify it. I saw him on the street earlier. Then he logged out of my server and was gone for a couple of minutes and logged back in behind me. I kill him but then when I loot his body he has no gun despite the fact he has one when I killed him.

WTF?

Also, I thought they got rid of the bandit skin but he had that too. Any ideas as to what happened to the gun and/or how this guy got the bandit skin?
