A2 (DayZ) & Windows 8?

As I'm sure plenty of you know, the Windows 8 beta is out. I was considering downloading it, but then I remembered the 20 gig download that accompanied DayZ.

So I would like to know if anyone is already running A2 CO on Windows 8.

It's also worth asking if there hasn't been any testing done, if there are any developers interested in input from people who are running/trying to run DayZ on Windows 8.

You're gonna download a windows 8 beta? Sorry for your loss...

I don't think you'd be able to find graphic drivers and things like DirectX. If you could, they would likely be beta and run poorly.

I have several dev copies where I work. I cannot recommend Win 8 to anyone.

I run Dayz just fine in Windows 8 using a virtual machine.

I've been running Win8 since the consumer preview (now running the Release Preview), and DayZ works great. No driver issues at this point, as Windows Update seems to do a pretty decent job of making sure things work, and nVidia has Win8 drivers on their site. (Side note: If you have an nVidia card, I suggest the 304 beta drivers.)
