Couple things i'd love to see in DayZ

Hello all. im a noob here, been playing the mod for a couple weeks now and just wanted to add a couple suggestions.

first off i looked around this board for topics that may have covered this but i didnt read them all nor did i read all the posts therein...

that being said.... is there or does anyone else think a melee option from spawn is needed?

I do. a punch or push please. i think once you equip say a crow bar you cant use the melee action. or maybe still can. at least a punch nothing powerful just something unarmed. if a zombie can knock me down and ive knocke dthem down with pistol rounds why not a punch or push with fatigue cooldown for repeated use not unlike l4d2, but totally not overpowered just a punch a zombie in the face 25 times to kill it or something i unno, discuss.

this would free up loot spawns for other added things or more guns or bigger packs, batteries. i can see where this mod can go. if there is going to be new things like a crafting thing similar to the fire, if there already has been talk of this im sorry i missed it im new here.

but for instance MOLOTVS. i see bottles i can fill a canteen in a pond.....i can imagine using bandages, lord knows theres enough of them laying about, as a fuse and matches or a ZIPPO. see molotov glow, see molotov fly, see zombies burn, burn zombies burrrrrrrrnnnn.

also more enterable structures in the wilds? and just prop the out house doors open static, we dont fit inside proper and its just silly to break a leg on a flimsy door.

cant i use a stove in a house if i got a jerry can? or wood and matches? or a ZIPPO. i see what looks like wood stove appliances in some places. safer way to cook something at night. and of course after slamming a crowbar or splitting heads with a hatchet 80 times i would think my toon would not be as freeked out by a little ole hopper all by itself next to a dog house. why not lessen that chance with kill count or something?

i have no idea how to implement anything like these things, nor do i have more than a passing knowledge of how things get programmed or added or modded, mostly map making in source or in a couple of other editors. i understand and im not a doof, but i couldnt apply for a job at a game company making a game like this thats for sure.

and to conclude my first post, is there any plans for the water or for expanding the area? IE: yes i mean making it bigger or at the least a shard to another smaller sized island via a portal on the water in a boat, and by portal i mean like when you are traveling in some rpgs, you walk into the mouth of the cave, screen says loading and then you are inside the cave, like that but to another island.

on a personal note,, this ALPHA mod of this game is simply amazing. the application of it and its unique experience each time you spawn, and by unique i mean, how you spawn different places, and theres different stuff in teh loot spawns, and of course a super market is a super market. and you will die, happens all the time, but im talking about maybe one day you sneak into the church and a guy is in there, and you say "hey im friendly", and "im just hungry looking for food, look im going to drop this crowbar right here k?" and the other guy says " ok, come on in!" and dosent shoot you in the back of the head while youre slurping some beans outta a can. while the next day you may sneak into the same church but this time some green haired monster with some space looking gun comes in after you and says nothing just shoots you. lol i love this damn mod. i bought combined ops just to play it.

one time i find myself hunting cows and what ever else i can to replenish my blood. and the next im raiding a town. today im hoping i still have my gear on what ever server i end up on, and i really hope the sickness/coughing mechanic stays. the shakes from being cold etc the transmission to others is fking brilliant. so all in all THANKS ROCKET! and thanks to all those who have played this and have contributed to its glory. and thank you to that guy who gave me a truck the other night with the woodpiles and raw meats meds and the AR and 8 mags for it. you told me it needed fixing and gas and i tried but some asshat shot me when i was looking for a gas can..... was fun for the ten minutes i had it. please keep up the awesome job you are doing, you guys on the "team"

peopel are buying new or upgrading PC's just to play this ALPHA mod. thats fking amazing to me. its the sandbox you let us play in man and the tense atmosphere youve created. this mod soon to be game, is almost what me and my friends have been talking about for a few years now. almost a lot of things needed to fulfill our/my wishes but this is damn close as close as its ever been for us to THAT game. dead island, it was there in concept, but the mutated zombies kinda ruined it a bit not to mention all the bugs and fighting mechanics. but you gotta admit it was a helluva a romp across that island. and it was polished and worked on for years by a team. had tons of money behind it, yet one guy with a dream, made this DayZ people are just dying to play. ALPHA MOD man that just gets me lol and then i stop and think holy shit what can DayZ become with a professional team behind it? with the polish and art style custom textures for items etc...and im like holy shit!!!! its going to be glorious.
