How long does the flashing drink icon last ?

Any official word on how long you can survive when your water icon flashes ?

i know you can make it from Otmel all the way to the north side of NW airfield and itll be flashing but i found a coke when i got there lol

Until you die. It depends on your blood level as it starts dropping when the drink or food icons blink.

"If you become too Hungry or Thirsty then your blood will begin to drain at a rate of 20 units per second. This will continue to the point at which you die."

I believe it flashes for like 60-120 seconds. somewhere around there. Then you lose 10 blood every second.

Edit: Didnt well depends on how much blood you have. and just divide your blood by 10 and thats how many seconds you have
