Kodakly 10 Posted August 2, 2012 (edited) I've recently been Globally Banned on Day Z for no particular reason at all. Sadly, I have no proof to show & There's no reason to go to the BattleEye website. Anyways, I wanted to know are Global Bans Permanent? I also wanted to know if they ban you IP aswell, I just started playing not too long ago. I've realized there was a recent update for Six Launcher & I'm quite curious if that had cause a glitch in the system to cause my ban? I could use some feedback as soon as possible! Thank you. suspense 210 Posted August 2, 2012 Global bans are issued on cd keys. Buying a new game and installing with a new cd key will allow you to play again

Will I still be able to access it through the same Steam Account?
suspense 210 Posted August 2, 2012 Can you please give me a text tutorial on how to do that? Will I still be able to access it through the same Steam Account? No, if you load the game through the steam account that had the game license that was banned, it will overwrite the registry and load the "banned" cd key. You need to create a new steam account, and buy the game with that account, and also launch it with that account.
