game is laggy and jerky

well,ive been playing dayZ with all the video options to the lowest and turned down my visibility but it still plays quite laggy and jerky which is quite heard when running or shooting a zombie. if you have any suggestions,please share them and ask any questions you want.thanks in advance!

CPU Speed: 2.1 GHz

RAM: 3.8 GB

OS:Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition (build 7600), 64-bit

Video/Graphics Card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 Series

Pixel shader version: 4.1

Dedicated video ram: 384 MB

Have you tried putting DayZ on a ramdisk? Do a search, there's a howto video kicking around somewhere.

Try this, It doesn't work for everyone.. But it does for some, I have a high end PC with all my settings to the max, even though I don't need the extra FPS, I wanted to try this out, and it worked...

no wonder it is laggy an hd4200 series is not going to cut it not by a long shot and your ram will barely get you there

Incorrect, the PC before this one had the 2gb's of RAM, and Nvida Geforce 9800 and it run on medium settings.

His RAM is fine.
