Do Helicopters have night vision or Thermal??

I joined a server today and this helicopter was pretty much chasing me in the dark. Luckily it was a full moon so I could see for the most part, but I would go under trees and he would still find me. Also, does the helicopter have guns or do you need a second person to shoot their own gun? Because he was definitely shooting at me and I decided screw this. Helicopter vs me? D/C lol.

they can take damage from a rifle? I had an m16 grenade attachment, but i assumed it wouldn't do anything and I've never seen a helicopter in this game until now so I wasn't sure if he was hacking.

yerp, ppl who fly helis actually get scared sh1tless if u shoot em cus you damage their baby, not to mention if it gets busted like a car being shot they fall outa the sky meaning bad stuff happens to them.
