Awesome server, admins are chill.

I found a heli earlier in the day and when I tried to pick up my friend it took fire and we made a hard landing. We all got picked off 1 by 1 from snipers.

It was then a mexican stand off for the chopper. Nobody could go in, nobody could go out. It was too much at stake.

After several hours of nail bitting, server reset, choppa was still there but everyone pretty much left. I was able to fix it up with the help of 2 dudes. We searched some crashed heli sites for a bit.

We went to one site and my heli was starting to slide down the hill. I opted to stay in. The heli stopped slidding so I got out and the gunner seat was facing the chopper, zombies, and 2 men.

I had to go to bed and if I started the chopper they would surely come jump in, so the only way to secure the chopper in our safe undisclosed location would to be, betrayal. I didn't want to do it, but it had to be done.

I mowed them down. 1 was an admin.....I was like ooooooo sheeeeet

But he didn't ban or kick me. Got a good laugh out of it actually, posted a rofl in chat.

I am truly sorry what I did though, and must now go to bed. If I see you again though, I will give you all my nice shit.

this incident was a fine example of the moral dilemma dayz creates.

You had 2 very good reasons to kill me, and should be glad you acted as you did.

1. about 2hrs earlier I came across you and someone with an R name at the chopper. I was the one with the really bad aim fal and 2 grenades.(note to self NEVER try and engage in combat when dling torrents) I figured you must of seen my name tag, so when my buddy on vent mentions that the glass he found fixed the gas leak,and he was talking to you in game.Well I came over expecting/deserving to be shot sooner than later.

2. We likewise wanted to get the chopper to OUR camp,and go to bed. But neither of us had ever flown in arma 2. So we flew with you and waited for a friend to login. He did and was ready to meet us(remember the "stop for our friend at airfield" you ignored?

When we were looting final site, we decided it was time to end it and put a gun to your head soon as you got out of chopper.

I had just a moment to mention on vent you were in the gunner seat. :o :o

So well played,I know I had no beans on me, and you deserve them so here you go :beans:

But beware, we WILL find your camp and take YOUR beans sooner or later.

I was the other guy who you mentioned helped fix the helicopter. It was fun while it lasted, you couldn't have picked a better time to gun us down. You were going to die once we got back to the heli, lol.

Just out of Curiosity, what is the deal with all the downtime on the server? It seems to go offline quite often...

There seems to of been some issues with the host and game spy.

I have been on vacation last few days, but am back and will be on top of keeping it up as much as possible

Our home was on 1182! It was nice that there was rarely any hackers! We just got our first heli and parked it not far from our camp. My wife, myself and a couple others really thought of 1182 as our home. We had a couple ATVs for a while, but scored big finding a repairable chopper in a field. We got it in working order and flew around a bit, but there wasn't enough people online to really utilize it.

Sad to see our home go offline, guess we'll have to start a new camp on a new server :( Thanks for the good times while they lasted.
