I think I have some good suggestions to survive in DayZ.

First of all. There must be a possibility to fill your waterbottle in the sea. (I know you could do that but then it was to easy)

But then you have to cook your water so you are able to drink it. If not, you are more thirsty than before.

Second. I think I read this in another topic but it is worth posting it. You need a whiskey bottle or something else (maybe even a waterbottle) so you can fill it with milk from animals, farms,...

You also should be able to find a barbeque and make 'Delicious Steaks'. These items should give back double the blood that normal meat does.

Also, there should be boat trailers in the game which you can attach to certain vehicles (ex. the pick up trucks), so you can take your boat to different places than the sea.
