Huey emergency landing?

I've always wondered about this, as a avid pilot, I was wondering what are my options (besides bailing out of course), if my chopper loses thrust or fuel?

Anyone ever tried to do a auto rotation landing, or is the chopper itself just too weak to handle the stress?

Auto rotation is not simulated in arma 2, bail out or die pretty much

Don't land your huey with your tails, landing with your nose increase your chance of survival...

Was going to answer but two people already did, chances are slim considering chernarus is mainly just forest.

So have a plan of where to land.

Yep you are pretty much dead, because in vanilla arma the chopper just goes down like a brick, while in ace auto rotating is doable.

Actually it is. There is even a tutorial on how to do it. Bailing out is the worst thing you can do because the heli will fall on you and kill you.

I love how most of you just say "you die" you can land safely after losing power.
