L85A2 aws Value?

Was just wanting to try and get a pretty good value estimation on the L85A2 aws with thermal and nightvision. Looking to maybe get trades for ghillie or nvg or as50. L85A2 comes with 12 full mags.

Currently nothing is worth anything because there are so many tents around the map on multiple servers with endless amount of everything, lol.

It's a great weapon, easy to find players in foliage with...

And wth, AS50 isnt a hacked item

1. The AS50 is legit, it spawns at helicopter crash sites, there is a hacked version of it with a thermal sight though

2. The L85 was not supposed to be removed, it was a bug in the update

Nobody is yelling at you for being misinformed, they're calling you out for spreading the information as truth without the slightest hint that you might not have a clue what you're talking about. I mean the AS50 is a hacked item? Where did you read this that you didn't just go to the loot sheet and immediately verify it as false?

And, yeah, seems kind of scary that you're running a server without a passing knowledge of the available items in the game. It's not like there's that many of them.

Not banned anyone for the AS50... only G36SDs... which i know for a FACT are not in DayZ. As-well-as teleporting and injecting scripts/code. I might not know 100% of the weapons but I do know how to code.

Just for the record all of my Bans are sent to the DayZ team to verify. :).

I'd say the L85A2 AWS value is extremely variable, depending on the player.

Pros:

- Thermal sights

- Zeroing

- Takes STANAG mags, which are relatively easy to find

- NV sights

- Semi/Full auto fire rate

Cons:

- No regular sights

- Doesn't aim particularly well

- No burst fire

- Scope gives you "tunnel vision" like a sniper rifle scope

- Damage is baseline assault rifle level

- Not silenced

- Not camo

- Thermal makes it difficult to tell which direction you're aiming

In other words: it depends on your playstyle.

I'd like to add to the cons: With all the shades of red, it's hard to see where you are aiming. You could be aiming south instead of say west and not know it. It's very easy to get "lost" in the scope.
