Survivor Tyler 77 Posted August 2, 2012 Would anyone mind looking over a basic build that i literally just finished. I used my same power supply that i had because he didnt really need a crazy one. I can post all the parts. he was mainly looking to play average games at medium quality. Survivor Tyler 77 Posted August 2, 2012 Well he gave me 500$. And thats what i could do with it for his requirements. I think it should be an alright base setup. I told him he didnt need an i5. so over rated. and ill never buy an amd>.>
Skyl1n3 29 Posted August 2, 2012 (edited) Hmm. Well poop. But it will work fine right?Went brain-dead and quoted myself for some reason :PI found another HDD for the same price but twice the performance of the Seagate Barracuda Green:http://www.newegg.co...N82E16822236339Apart from that I'd say a pretty nice build. Skyl1n3 29 Posted August 2, 2012 (edited) Maybe think about going for an i5 instead of i3? extra $80 I know but worth it...The i3-2120 scored 4221 on PerformanceTest which is really good for an i3, plus most things like gaming are more GPU-dependable. :) Edited August 2, 2012 by Skyl1n3

Bobcomss 189 Posted August 2, 2012 I just don't see what people have against them, they are extremely good for the price you pay.Yeah AMD are good and I have had them in the past, I just find intel are more reliable and much better for over clocking, and there isn't much prices difference tbh.AJ
