Yeah I mean DayZ is a great game and is free for me the only downer was buying Arma 2 a game i'm never going to play except for DayZ however i got it for £20 and in gaming terms and how long im going to play thats pretty damn good!

Don't knock Arma II. There are TONS of mods/user created missions so there is bound to be something you will enjoy in there! Hell you can easily spend an evening just dicking about in boot camp with a few friends, flying jets, hellicopters etc etc

The Unique Players number is not relevant.

The Alive Characters number is the important one. It shows how many people are actually actively playing.

Players with more than one key, banned hackers, people not playing anymore, are included in the Unique Player number and these situations make that number invalid. Even taking into account players taking a break or between character, the numbers a re still off.

However, it is used by game developers for marketing purposes, to show off how many players their game has, but it is false.
