US 884 - BattleEye 55

Recommended Posts

I had a ghillie suit (acquired legitimately) and a DMR - I walked into the barn north of Vysota. A player was already inside, who killed me before I could get my gun up. As I tried to log back in with a new spawn, I was kicked from the server.

Is this a case of "admin thinks I cheated because I found a ghillie suit"? It was one of my favorite servers to play on :(

884 is one of my favorite servers also. The admin is very nice and considerate, always checking to make sure the server is running properly (he has private messaged me on multiple occasions to check on this). I have never seen another server admin be as conscientious about this as Necio is. And at one time it was a fairly underpopulated server (which frankly I liked), but has become much more populated recently.

To answer your question, no this is not a case of the admin kicking you for any reason. It is a battleye issues. I had the same thing happen on the same server. You just need to go manually download battleye file at http://www.battleye.com/download.html (get the client and server file for 1.62). This should clear the problem up for you, it did for my buddy and I.
