I realise that, but I hear some people were having issues, so I just didn't say it in the video so then people can't say "but it doesn't work". I've heard it's buggy and stuff.

hey, it is telling me my @CBA has the wrong keys, but i JUST re-downloaded the whole thing so it would be up-to-date for this? what do i do to fix this?

Better question. Can OA be bought from the website rather then steam since it's cheaper and applied to steam ARMA II Free?

Tried using this Installation guide did it step by step, and it just kept telling me "You cannot play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted. dayz_code, dayz_weapons, dayz_equip, dayz_vehicles." just don't know what else to do. I just bought Arma CO today just because of a friend telling me about this mod. Hope someone can help me out.

edit: This was upon trying to join a server it would kick me right out as it started to load.

Sounds like either your directory's not set up correctly or the path you entered is wrong.

When you load, does it say DayZ in the top right corner of the main ArmA screen?

If it DOES check that your installation follows something along the lines of steamapps > common > operation arrowhead/combined operations > @dayz > addons > ~mod files are here~

The bold section is the most important part, people often forget addons thus stopping the mod from working when loading a game.

If it DOES NOT show DayZ at the top right your mod files are not loading it at all, meaning your exec string has probably been entered wrongly. Check to make sure it matches the video, if it does and you're still having issues try using a launcher as described HERE.

It does says @dayz in the corner and I did put everything in the steamapps > common > operation arrowhead @dayz/addons. Which is why I am confused why it didn't work I followed it exactly.

Ok so I fixed that problem somehow a addons folder was created in my addons folder when I cut and pasted the zip files. So I don't get knocked out of game just stuck receiving data lol.

I got steam version of A2, A2:OA + BAF, PMC.

Install mod via sixupdater.

And i allways got this, after loading on one another server...

guy on my pc it tells me my cabuildingparts are missing and it doesnt give me the option to go to arma CO at all i downloaded arma 2 and arma 2 OA and im really fustrated if you know how to fix the problem plz for gods sakes tell me ive been trying to make it work since 2:30 in the morning and i skipped school plz someone help ill be checkin this every 15 minutes for someone to reply

CABuildingParts error means it isn't loading CO properly.

Follow this guide to get it to run CombOps: if you follow it correctly it should launch Arrowhead and say ArmA II-PC and @DayZ on the top-right corner. Make sure both games are patched and unmodded otherwise.
