Problems with beta patch

Everytime i try to launch the patch i get an error message stating :

"data file too short" c\programfiles etc etc........ arma 2 operation arrowhead\expansion\addons\characters_e.pbo expected 673569908 B , got 606208000 B"

wtf? any help? anyone else having problems?

What are your system specs?

I'm assuming you have Arma 2 and Operation arrowhead seperatly, try copying your "Addons" folder from Arma 2 and pasting it in the Arma 2 -Operations Arrowhead directory

my system ran the demo for arma 2 smoothly, and operation arrowhead initially aswell, i was following kodabar's guide to set up dayz and i got as far as sorting out the beta patch. installed it, did the addons thing above, but no cigar....
