cyclic redundancy error

Hello, i have been fighting with this error for a while now. At first i couldnt install Arma2 AO. i got past that, then i couldnt update, got past that to. but now i try to launch dayz and i can see team speak as its loading but it never gets any further. It freezes and after openning task manager i can see a cyclic redundancy error.

Your hard disk is dying. Back up any and all important data. Attempt to run a chkdsk at a command prompt (administrator) with the following command:

chkdsk c: /f
