DayZ Freezing, Can Hear Sound, Can't Alt Tab/CTRL ALT DELETE

Hello, I have a problem where 30+ minutes into my gameplay of Dayz all of a sudden my game will freeze and I can still hear skype or teamspeak and hear dayz sound but my whole screen is frozen and I can't alt tab or ctrl alt delete to get out of Arma 2. My specs are gtx 580, i7 2600k, 4gb of ram (had 8gb but I had to get rid of my other 4gb stick cause it was faulty and causing BSOD all the time). I ran a Mem Diagnos cause I thought it would be lack of ram or something but it said everything turned out fine. Please help!

Yeah, I get This. I don't know what causes it but, to other players you run in place, horrible if your tracking a player or running from zed's.

My computer can run everything very high with 60+ frames constant, so I don't really know what the problem is...

Just happened again, this time my friend could still hear me BUT I couldn't hear him and the sound froze doing the same sound it was before. Have had BSOD on Dayz but could not remember what the BSOD code was. Haven't had a BSOD in a while but this keeps occuring on whatever server I go on.

I have the same issue.

When it occurs the fans in the pc all ramp up and screen goes black. I can hear the game sounds and Skype is still working. I have to reboot my computer and windows says it had an unexpected shut-down and the description days it Bluescreen'd. I wonder if its a connection problem that is causing it? I noticed that the lights on my router were flashing (usually solid when internet is on), but I was still talking on skype to a buddy I was online with.

Hopefully this ain't a problem with my pc, but sounds the same to other people that are suffering these issues with ARMA 2/Dayz. Strange thing is, I have been playing for a couple of weeks now without any issues. Computer hasn't changed, and was completely rebuilt prior to Dayz play, as I know from previous experience Arma is a CPU killer.

All of a sudden I got the problem where I was sent to desktop and had to shift - and flush to get back in then it did the same thing as usual and froze and I had to restart.

Now having driver error and then recovered, tried downgrading and its just as worse... help??

I get this from time to time, I think my problem I think is my dual-core, I'm thinking if you upgrade to a quad-core then it should stop. (This of course assumes you have a dual-core)
