swim/boat your way to the small island in the very far top right of the map. http://dayzdb.com/map#4.138.025 seems deserted enough.

That is not an island, it is connected to the mainland. You just don't see it in that map.

If you think "where would a camp be hidden good", don't put at the place you came up with. I search for camps on "good spots" and other people do, too.

Yep, it's actually a cove that goes up off the map but its all connected, found a couple of nice camps up there as well

No such thing as a good stash spot. Someone is gonna find ur stuff, eventually. Always. Just pray the ones that find your tents don't decide to run over them with a vehicle after taking what they want.
