Helicopters only on certain servers?

So I've been hunting choppers lately and I've gotten a few but obviously there are server resets while I'm in the chopper or something else happens that kicks me from the server. Now I'm looking for a server with regular restarts BUT all the servers where there are regular restarts that I've been on, when I've gotten to the spot where a chopper might spawn there's nothing there, but most of the servers where (in the lobby) they let you know what times they DO respawn there's always a chopper at the spot I go to... Why? :P

just for the record. there are new chopper spawns, so looking on the old ones is not the best choice :P

and I dont think all servers are up to date. so look for server that runs the latets hive version and arma 2 beta patch :)

skalisty island is a known spawn location.

Yeah, Skalisty is the only spawn point I've found so far.

No one on my server has found a chopper yet, and I've been asking people in admin just to verify that it is spawning. And with the news of it resetting on server resets at Skalisty(most known location), and knowing we check there every day and haven't found one there so far, So either it can spawn ANYWHERE, or for some reason, our server does not have one on it. And I'm getting quite pissed about it now actually.

I have a server with my room mate for our clan, and the public to play on, and as of yet not a single flyable helicopter has spawned on my server. We are online 20/24 hours a day all over the map, and we keep in touch with our community for several reasons including for patch bugs and hackers. We've covered the entire map, checked every helo spawn several times a day, and nothing. EDIT : We also keep up to date with every possible patch/hotfix. So it's not the server/dayz/arma version.
