Need help to get Day-Z working i've Arma 2 Retail Arrowhead steam

I am in need of help please im dieingggggggggggggggggg to play Dayz but...

It's not working!

I've tried lots of things but to be honest I don't know what i'm doing I have Arma 2 Retail and Operation Arrowhead on steam.

I would greatly appreciate if somebody could give me a step by step of how to get it working instead of linking me to dayzwiki because I don't understand how they layed it out whatsoever.

Looked at that but that's for steam version of combined operations mine is a mixture between retail and steam

ARMA2 Mixed copy (Retail + Steam)

• Make sure you install the latest patch for the retail version from http://www.arma2.com/supply/game-updates Then follow the STEAM/NON-STEAM INSTALLATION(look below) guide.
  

DayZ Non-Steam manual installation

Install ARMA2 beta patch first and then follow DayZ Manual install instructions below.

Manual install

• Download DayZ Mod files. http://www.armafiles.info/dayz/
  
• Make a folder named "@DayZ" in your Arma2 folder
  
• Inside "@DayZ" folder create another folder named "Addons".
  
• Unpack all DayZ Mod files in the "Addons" folder.
  
• Start the game as instructed in ARMA2 beta patch
  
• If everything is installed correctly you should see "@dayz" line under "ArmA 2" on the right side of the menu screen.
  
• Use the filter to find DayZ servers.
