stuck in the ocean can't respawn

i was playing on US 179 when hackers teleported all of us to the ocean, most people made it out because battleye detected it but i wasnt so lucky and im now stuck in the ocean with no way out. i was wondering if there is some way i could get out of the ocean or kill myself without the respawn button.

I really don't mind hackers (Too much) If all they do is snipe noobs on the coast. There isn't much we can do about them but check logs and ban, but when do stuff like that I just don't get it. I understand they think it's "funny" but really I don't see why they would do it. Atleast warn people before like Thunderdome so if I'm on I can kick/ban before it begins :\

Had the same problem, mine was related to trying to equip the camo suit though. Was playing with a friend who was unaffected so don't think it was a hacker.

First check if the option stays viable for a second before greying out, if not then I had to swim to the coast (landed on a blank piece of land, looked like i was completely off the map) even when i was on land i thought the respawn option was gone but it was appearing for a brief moment then greying out. All came down to timing to manage to reload my character.

I feel for ya bro, I was fully stocked with equipment and stoked that i'd found a camo suit :( won't be going near the camo suits again. (or ladders for that matter)
