franko1932 0 Posted April 30, 2012 I searched and a couple of similar items came up, but I may have not searched the correct phrase; here is an idea of that I had.In any Zombie outbreak you always hear about the location that all the survivors are going to, so:1. What would people think about radomly placing a militarized zone, camp, etc, in a server with that location changing each time a server is restarted2. The location is not necessarily zombie free, but there would be a sentralized group of people in that location that make that location safer in order to help build some sort of civilization.3. This location would not be announced, nor marked on a map. You hear about this location through clues found throughout the map (i.e. just as you find food, water, guns, etc), or through word of mouth (i.e. "Hey did you hear about the camp at electra? It is supposed to be where everyone is going.")4. You may get there and find other non-infected people that you can help hunt, scavage supplies, go on Zombie watch, etc to help the civilization survive; or you may get there to find the place overrun with zombie's and have to try another area after the servers re-set.You would still have the choice of going off on your own/in a group as you do now, or trying to make your way to that location by yourself or with your group. This is something that if you had a large enough group, you may be able to do on your own; I am not sure? Again, just a thought and I wanted to see what others thought as well. Freeborne (DayZ) 7 Posted May 1, 2012 Would be interesting if you could rescue civilians all around the map, get them to join you, and take them back to settlements. There they could take up a trade and you could later return to them to buy equipment, have things repaired, and perhaps build up a settlement.We also need more dynamic places. You can dynamically generate whole towns in ArmA but no-one ever seems to do it. The military bases are okay, but they're static and quite small. naizarak 41 Posted May 1, 2012 yes the game definitely needs randomly scattered "interest points" to serve as mini-objectives for players. to be honest the game is feeling rather dull at the moment - i mean there's nothing to do once you collect the good guns and fix a jeep. from that point you're just killing everyone who gets close to you.
