So, I'm getting new computer soon, is there anyway to transfer my character available to play on the new computer?

Everything is saved in the central Hive. Just install Arma II + Arrowhead using the same CD key and it will work. Your character will be there.

I do not have cd key, I'm using steam to download it, but not running with steam, will it affect this?

No. Install Steam on the new PC, login using your Steam account, install Arma II + Arrowhead (and start them once without DayZ, which completes the install and inserts your CD key from Steam to your registry), then install DayZ using Sixupdater or DayzCommander and everything will just work. Your character and stuff will be there (at least until you again get shot and lose everything - which you will)
