It has an A6 Quad Core AMD Processor with RADEON HD6530D Graphics (Integrated, I assume), And 8GB of DDR3 RAM. Sounds reasonable to me.
bahhh 83 Posted August 1, 2012 Of course it would :)It would run literally 2.5xtimes faster than mine
kritikalhit 1 Posted August 1, 2012 Of course it would :)It would run literally 2.5xtimes faster than mineSweet! My current laptop is the Asus 1215N and It has a 1.8Ghz Dual Core Processor and NVIDIA ION 2 Graphics, but it still can't run DayZ. :( That's one reason I want a good computer. Would this computer be good for games for a long time ( say 2-3 years?)
komoter226@yahoo.co.uk 59 Posted August 1, 2012 (edited) The GPU isn't made for games, so no. Also, don't buy gaming PCs from Best Buy etc. They're obviously gonna be shit, and it's much more affordable to build one yourself. h3retic 224 Posted August 1, 2012 (edited) u cant really call that a gaming computer.... but u might still be able to run arma 2 in low settings and high optimization wit haround 20 fps. bf3 will be around 30 fps i expect.I looked up the system and people can run DayZ on mid-high settings and also Battlefield 3 at mid-low settings so...thats if u want shitty performance :) Edited August 1, 2012 by h3retic

bahhh 83 Posted August 1, 2012 Oh boy.. sorry OP.I was wrong regarding that information. It is still a better computer than me though. But you have to know that i have constant 15~20frames and 30frames at best.Still playing it though :)
Grimlok (DayZ) 134 Posted August 1, 2012 Dont buy a computer from CyberPower or IBuyPower. I built one of the PC's offered by both of them that they are selling for like a grand and change for $750. My advice, build your own. Its cheaper, and a lot more fun.
komoter226@yahoo.co.uk 59 Posted August 1, 2012 OP if you're gonna buy a gaming PC, buy a decent one that can last for 4-6 years. Seriously, you won't regret it.

h3retic 224 Posted August 1, 2012 btw low settings dont always mean better performance (ex: dayz shadows on high run better than on med or low, because high shadows are loaded by ur gpu as opposite to low and med, being worked by cpu)

Dont use Best Buy or Futureshop to get your PCs. The best would be to build em yourself but since your not that tech savvy use the links I provided and you can set up a nice PC.my current computer has a q6600 and that video card, but I don't think I can replace the ATI graphics card :/You can always replace a GPU but then it has to be compatible with your motherboard, not be bottlenecked by your CPU, your PSU will have to have enough power and your gonna have to open up your PC to install the new GPU. h3retic 224 Posted August 1, 2012 (edited) my gaming pc (4 year old) came with q6600 which is kept, but upgraded GPU to HD6870, and im able to get around 40-50 fps in dayz Edited August 1, 2012 by h3retic
