Would this run dayz?

This would be my first gaming desktop computer and I was wondering if it could run DayZ and Battlefield 3 at decent settings. It has an A6 Quad Core AMD Processor with RADEON HD6530D Graphics (Integrated, I assume), And 8GB of DDR3 RAM. Sounds reasonable to me.

Sweet! My current laptop is the Asus 1215N and It has a 1.8Ghz Dual Core Processor and NVIDIA ION 2 Graphics, but it still can't run DayZ. :( That's one reason I want a good computer. Would this computer be good for games for a long time ( say 2-3 years?)

The GPU isn't made for games, so no. Also, don't buy gaming PCs from Best Buy etc. They're obviously gonna be shit, and it's much more affordable to build one yourself.

Look at those 2 link and look at the scores for your GPU, It literally sucks. Have you tried looking at any other gaming computer websites?

Look at these websites and look for something better at the same price range.

Well you can run it at lowest settings possible, but I'm pretty sure you don't want to have Wii graphics?

I looked up the system and people can run DayZ on mid-high settings and also Battlefield 3 at mid-low settings so...

u cant really call that a gaming computer.... but u might still be able to run arma 2 in low settings and high optimization wit haround 20 fps. bf3 will be around 30 fps i expect.

Sure you can buy the PC, but you will HAVE to upgrade your GPU VERY soon.

I can run this game on low settings at 25-35 FPS but I cant even run BF3 at lowest res with lowest options. I only get 15-20 FPS on it.

Oh boy.. sorry OP.

I was wrong regarding that information.

It is still a better computer than me though.

But you have to know that i have constant 15~20frames and 30frames at best.

Still playing it though :)

Dont buy a computer from CyberPower or IBuyPower. I built one of the PC's offered by both of them that they are selling for like a grand and change for $750. My advice, build your own. Its cheaper, and a lot more fun.

i have a gamign pc. funny as it is, i get around 60-70 fps in bf3 but only 30-40 in arma 2, so i guess it all depends on little details and componetns of ur pc. like harddrive speed (can be fixed by ramdisk - in dayz), ram, and cpu specs

btw low settings dont always mean better performance (ex: dayz shadows on high run better than on med or low, because high shadows are loaded by ur gpu as opposite to low and med, being worked by cpu)

Did you even visit the websites I posted for you? Dont use Best Buy or Futureshop to get your PCs. The best would be to build em yourself but since your not that tech savvy use the links I provided and you can set up a nice PC.

You can always replace a GPU but then it has to be compatible with your motherboard, not be bottlenecked by your CPU, your PSU will have to have enough power and your gonna have to open up your PC to install the new GPU.

Hell neither was i until i built the computer myself, i must have scrapped like 20+ parts list before i even ordered the parts.

if you have the money go for it OP, my first gaming PC was from IBuyPower about 8 years ago, they are a good company.

I am actually tech savy :) I'm now thinking of building a gaming PC for 400 dollars with a Intel Core i3 2120 Processor and

Sapphire 11201-00-20G Radeon HD 7770 GHZ 1GB DDR5 graphics card :)
