I want to die.

Recommended Posts

Do you know what having good pieces of gear does for me? It discourages me from logging in. Little to gain and much to lose.

I instinctively crawl around zombies and take flight against opponents that have a good chance. And I'm by no means a big fan of suicide. I live because living is the one and only highest priority, by miles. With all gear coming passively.

I want to go down in a fight I have no choice in. I want to lose this attachment I have to my gear. I want to enjoy all the sensations of a fresh start.

Anybody else having this issue with just launching up and playing? And how many times will I have to die with decent loot before I can pre-emptively shrug it off?

I love the nature of this mod and games like it. Immersive and unforgiving, which in turn makes it scary and exciting. I'm kicking myself for no longer being able to engross myself in it.

I've only enjoyed it purely as a lone wolf so far, which I reckon makes a big difference.

I know what you're feeling--its that first time you find a great weapon, GPS, NVGs, camo suit, etc...

Only way to play is the only way to live--no fear.

And now that I sound like a complete poseur, away!

Try to find a tent.

Store your gear in your favorite server, and go kill some zombies!

I'm trying to stockpile weapons in a tent. 5 of each, so I can always safely get gear on a new spawn. It's fun, and a slow process.

Thank you for your effort, found a nice ghillie yesterday and a camosuit too, someone else left a GPS and now I just need to find a nice soul which has stored NVG... :)

bigger risk, bigger game

see brightside, you got great gear and probley better than the enemy, you got a advantage now use it

if you die because you where not aware of surroundings it is a lesson learn and you got your wish granted

Lone wolfing leads to less friendly fire incidents due to lack of communication. RIP nch, i wish I had listened

I got Range Finders, GPS, NVG, Ghille Suit, AS50, PDW (Used more than my primary), and drive in a UAZ.

I picked up a total stranger yesterday and drove him around for a bit.

And yeah i know that feel of not wanting to lose your gear, so only do stupid shit with friends, its the best way to play the game IMHO.

Also im still a medic, so there's always that off chance that i will get shot on a call.

I like this way of looking at it. I normally have a tight understanding of my environment but still.

I don't actually want to be responsible for protecting a tent like some people think. And I don't want to be running to the very same place every time I respawn. Hoarding is infact the main thing I want to get away from. I want to dull my sense of loss so that I might just play more actively again.

Nice to know that I was blessed with the good luck to get a Coyote Backpack with only a 0.38% chance of spawning on that deerstand. But I feel like I would've been even better off if I didn't know those figures. And unless I raid a hospital again (which I strongly dislike) at my next spawn I should avoid crawling through any doorways. The 4 morphine I'm carrying right now sounds very desirable. To give two examples.
