Ok a little bit confused.

I have been playing this game for a while and died alot etc etc,

but a new one happened today, i was playing, eventually found some gear and logged off a while after. Then i logged back in today and it said i had been killed by some random (cant remember name) from friendly fire, all my stuff was gone and i was in the middle of nowhere with some random guy with blood pissing out his head.

Is this a glitch or was it a hacker????
