flat4ej20 5 Posted August 5, 2012 (edited) Hm, vram looks ok in config file. Try to disable areo theme just as a test. Right click desktop, click on personalize, under basic & high contrast themes select windows 7 basic.Aslo try manual fan control in CCC, maybe gpu running warm/hot.If you have more than 1 monitor, unplug them before starting arma. Headbucket 0 Posted August 7, 2012 I have the same problem. Two weeks ago it was really often. Then I was able to play one week without a crash. But yesterday it crashed again every 5 minutes... . I tried two different versions of graphic-drivers. I can use [shift]+[-]+Flush only 1 of 10 times to come back in game. I really dont know what to do... . It is not a temperature problem or something like this. My computer is running very stable (i did stress tests and something like this).PC Information:Windows 7 Professional 64bitAMD Phenom II X6 1100T Processor8 GB RamAMD Radeon 6950 HDGigabyte GA-970A-UD3 AM3+Game-Version:Digital Version (Steam)Ingame Video Option:Arma2OA.cfg Configuration File:language="English";adapter=-1;3D_Performance=93750;Resolution_Bpp=32;Resolution_W=1920;Resolution_H=1080;refresh=60;winX=16;winY=32;winW=800;winH=600;winDefW=800;winDefH=600;Render_W=1920;Render_H=1080;FSAA=0;postFX=2;GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1;GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=1;HDRPrecision=16;lastDeviceId="";localVRAM=1057538048;nonlocalVRAM=2147483647;vsync=0;AToC=6;FXAA=0;Windowed=0;PPAA=1;PPAA_Level=1;I hope anybody can help. navy198523 17 Posted August 7, 2012 I know how to fix everyone's issue and without reinstalling all games. Something with steam is messed up. First Go in to your Steam folder and go to steamapps, (MAKE A BACK UP) in another folder.Second Uninstall steam (make sure everything is cleared out of the old steam folder after you uninstall it.)Thrid Reinstall steamFourth Take the Steamapps folder that I stated above that you backed up and place it in your new steam folder, replace the folder thats in the new steam folder. From here it should fix the issue, for some odd reason, some updates mess up steam. I hope this helps you all out.

Gwarden 0 Posted August 8, 2012 Bump, I keep having Arma2OA.exe crashes sometimes after 5 minutes sometimes after hours...tried the uninstalling reinstalling everything, and my system runs stable on any other game. Very frustrating, only really happened since 1.7.2.

navy198523 17 Posted August 8, 2012 I do not have a clue, you could go on Armaholic.com and try asking on their trouble shooting forums. I really can't think what is causing you this issue.
