Can't see servers

I installed everything correctly yet when I search for servers I find nothing. When I search directly for servers, however, I can find them. How do I fix this?

Could you elaborate the difference between searching and directly searching please? I'm not sure if I understand you correctly.

The easiest way to look for a server for me was like follows:

1) in the server browser click on "filter"

2) click on "default" to reset any previous filters

3) type in "dayz" next to where it says "mission"

If you apply this filter you'll see all available dayz servers.

4) (optional) if you want to coordinate or find a server your mate is on, type the name or parts of it in the input box next to "host" (for example ny3)
